Merchandise

We make every effort to ensure that the information on this website is accurate. The colours of garments shown are representative and may not reflect exact shades, although this is the case for any item being viewed on a computer screen.

Whilst we stock a large number of outfits and sizes it may be, that on some occasions your size hasn't been stocked by us or is being shown as out of stock, if this is the case then please contact us via phone within opening hours or use our online contact form and we will do our best to see if we can order this item in for you, aiming to keep our order time down to a minimum.

Faulty Merchandise 

While we try our best to ensure that our garments are not in anyway damaged, however if, on receipt of an item, it is found to be damaged, you must return the item to us within seven days. We will then offer an immediate replacement if the item is in stock, or we can order a replacement as soon as possible. We would also be happy to offer a refund if this is preferred.

 

Ordering

Orders can be made online using our secure ordering system. Orders can also be made by phoning our shop on +44(0)1706 849006.

At this time our shop is closed, however, we are open for business as usual online.

We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal payments.

Please note that many of our labels carry different currency prices - only the GBP (£) shown is applicable to our store. 

Please ensure your full delivery and postcode are correct when placing your order, as we cannot be held responsible for any errors with the delivery as a result of this.

Delivery

All UK orders placed include free delivery. Orders are sent by courier (Royal Mail, DPD & Parcelforce).

Orders we receive before 12pm Monday to Thursday should be with you the next working day for UK Mainland deliveries (Excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands which can take up to 2 working days).

Orders made on a Friday before 12pm will normally be delivered on the following Monday if you choose the next day delivery option (UK Mainland only - *excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands), occasionally your order may arrive at the weekend. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday, however, we will always endeavour to dispatch orders after 12pm the same day where possible.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland, as well as Scottish Highlands and Islands should be with you within 2 working days. For the Republic of Ireland delivery is expected within 5 working days - please note that with the current circumstances some delivery may be subject to slight delays.

Please note: Due to the high volumes of parcels running through our couriers networks at the moment, although most parcels are still arriving in the above delivery time frames, some parcels may be subject to delays. Thank you for your patience and understanding. 

Please note our 24 hour delivery service is a delivery aim and not a guarantee. Once the parcel leaves our premises and handed to our courier, the delivery is out of our hands. However, it is rare the delivery aim is not met.

*Claims for non-delivery cannot be accepted after 30 days from dispatch 

Pricing

All the prices that are stated on the website include free delivery to anywhere within the United Kingdom. If you have any concerns regarding delivery prices outside the UK, where there will be an additional charge, please either phone us within our opening hours or fill out our online contact form and we will advise you of prices or answer any other questions you might have.

Please note that any additional import duties are the liability of the customer. Refusal to pay any additional charges may result in your parcel being returned back to us. If this occurs your order will be refunded when the return is processed, however, our shipping charges shown below will not be refunded.

Following the UK's exit from the European Union, when placing an order outside of the UK and Isle of Man the 20% UK VAT shown within our website prices will be removed at the checkout page.

Returns

If an item(s) you have ordered is not suitable then please return it in the original packaging, with all labels attached and in an unworn condition. It may be beneficial for you to use a return postage service that ensures a Signed For 'proof of delivery', as you would require this should your parcel go missing. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels lost in transit. The item must be returned to us within 14 days of the customer receiving it and the cost of the return postage should be paid for by the customer (including any customs charges for international orders).

Please note: We can only offer replacements for orders placed in the UK and Ireland. If you would like a replacement from outside of these areas we recommend to place a new separate order and we will process a refund for the returning item(s).

Refunds

We usually process a refund within 24 hours of us receiving the item.

Privacy

Here at Charles Vermont, we take your privacy very seriously. As of the 25th May 2018, with the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are ensuring that all our activities are GDPR compliant.

It is important you are aware when placing an order with us, either by phone or through our online checkout, of the data we will collect. The information we will retain, and that is needed to fulfil your order, will include your name, shipping address, billing address, email, purchase history, as well as your telephone number should you wish to give us this.

Your payment details will be processed by the payment gateway you choose, whether this is via card or Paypal. Your delivery will be processed by our couriers DPD/Parcelforce who will receive your shipping address, as well as your email and phone number (should you provide us with this). This is purely for the purposes of ensuring your parcel gets to you, and provides them with the means to contact you should they need to.

Your details will never be passed onto third parties for marketing purposes. We give you the option to voluntarily sign up for emails about Charles Vermont news, however should you wish to unsubscribe at any time then you can let us know through our contact form online, or you can ring us during our opening hours.

Any personal data you provide us with will be treated as confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will not be passed onto any 3rd parties.
